Policy & Procedures

As part of our policies and procedures (Care and Life Home Health Services) our greatest effort is to provide security and quality of services to our clients therefore we create awareness to our employees and clients and we urge you to report any type of violence, Abuse or neglect of any child or adult, regardless of whether or not he is our client.

Care and Life Home Health Services will not tolerate situations of abuse or negligence to any defenseless person; All employees must complete a Child/Adult Abuse Reporting Engagement Form and include prior criminal background check.

If an employee notices an incident of abuse or neglect, our Home Health Agency requires the employee to take the following steps:

If in the case of a child: An immediate verbal report must be made by phone to the emergency line and report the abuse and also report to the Home Health agency the administrator or any official representative.

If in the case of a child: An immediate verbal report must be made by phone at The Florida Abuse Hotline accepts reports 24 hours a day and 7 days a week of known or suspected child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and reports of known or suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

If you suspect or know of a child or vulnerable adult in immediate danger, call 911.
